Order one of our convenient, all-inclusive Meal Programs and let us do the work for you. Each week, our team of chefs and nutritional program coordinators will select an assortment of meals from the weekly menu for you in accordance with your food preferences.

Want to control your menu selections and customize your meals?

Create your own weekly menu and customize your individual meals with our A La Carte menu.  Choose your meals, select your side dishes, and personalize your meals with individual meal options.


Can I customize my meals?

Yes!  With our A La Carte menu, you can customize each individual meal according to your tastes, select your portion size, choose your side dishes and create the daily menu you want. Simply select the individual meal preferences you want when placing your A La Carte order.

For standard Meal Programs, simply indicate your allergens and preferences in your profile and they will automatically be applied to your Meal Program orders for that profile.

For customers who would like to request additional preferences (beyond the standard ones available in the account profiles), for those with special dietary needs, and for those who would like a food program not offered as one of our standard meal programs, please contact Customer Service to request a quote for a custom meal program. Custom programs cannot be ordered online and require a personalized quotation to make sure we can meet your needs.

NOTE: Account profile preferences or allergens do not apply to A La Carte orders.  Changes to preferences and allergen information in profiles (both main and sub-profiles) will be applied only to future delivery weeks; changes made after the weekly order deadline (i.e., the current week), will not be reflected in the current week’s deliveries.

How much does it cost?

We offer a unique combination of value and convenience for our customers.  Our fresh, organic, gourmet meals are priced competitively to other premium home meal delivery providers.  Weekly orders generally cost less than eating at restaurants of comparable food quality, and are also less than the cost of planning, purchasing, preparing, cooking and cleaning up after eating organic, gourmet meals at home.  Our weekly Meal Programs are priced on a "per-day" basis, and prices vary based on program type, number of weeks ordered and number of meals delivered each week.  We offer substantial discounts for multi-week orders.  A La Carte items are individually priced based on the item and portion size ordered.  Shipping fees are not included in the A La Carte meal and program prices and are based on the amount of food you order, the shipping address, and other factors.


What are the portion sizes and nutritional information of your meals?

Our own chefs prepare every meal from scratch each week in our own kitchen, and each meal is personalized for your specific order. As such, unlike with mass-produced and processed meals, the specific nutritional information for each meal can vary.  However, we do provide the following general guidance for our meals assuming standard preparation and a regular size. Most of our entrees come in two basic serving sizes: regular and large. Our regularly sized dinner entrees are generally based on a 5oz main item with two half-cup sized side dishes, and target an average of 400-500 calories.  Breakfasts and lunches are generally targeted for slightly fewer calories. The Healthy Chef® Diet weight loss program menus and portion sizes are designed to meet the target daily calorie ranges you specify when ordering.


Where do you deliver?

Nationwide! We deliver to residential addresses everywhere in the U.S. and Puerto Rico via overnight next day delivery (e.g., FedEx, UPS).  Deliveries to certain areas (e.g., Puerto Rico and some parts of Alaska and Hawaii) may require additional charges or other special delivery arrangements.  For deliveries to business addresses, please contact customer service at 866-575-2433 or email info@healthychefcreations.com to ensure your package receives the proper delivery instructions. Customers in the Orlando, FL area may receive local delivery or may elect to pick up their meals at our kitchen.


How often do you deliver?

We deliver your fresh organic meals once per week, generally on Friday.


How much does the shipping cost?

Shipping fees are not included in the individual meal and program prices and vary based on the amount of food you order, the shipping address, and other factors.


Are the meals frozen?

No! Our meals are made to order from scratch each week, packaged, shipped and delivered fresh to your door, never frozen, and ready to eat.


Do the meals really stay fresh?

Yes!  We guarantee that your meals will stay fresh for the whole delivery week (i.e., 7 days after the normal delivery date - Friday to Friday), provided you follow our simple handling instructions once your meals are delivered.


How do they stay fresh?

Each meal is individually packaged and sealed for freshness in a BPA-free container that is recyclable and both oven and microwave safe.  The oxygen is removed from the meal containers, and your individually sealed meals are delivered in one of our insulated cooler boxes with ice gel packs for shipping.  Using our proprietary method, our cooler boxes have been tested to stay cold, but not freeze, for up to 36 hours in extreme shipping conditions.  We ship our meals overnight via FedEx, so you receive your meals fresh, not frozen, and ready to eat.  


What do I do when I get my delivery?

When you receive your delivery, you should promptly check your order for accuracy and place all items in your refrigerator at a temperature of 33-36 degrees (F) until you are ready to eat them.  With proper handling, we guarantee your meals will remain fresh for the entire delivery week (e.g., Friday to Friday).


Can I freeze my meals?

Although our meals are delivered fresh and taste best when eaten fresh, cooked meals may be frozen and enjoyed at a later date.  Meals that contain raw fruits and vegetables should be enjoyed fresh and should not be frozen.  If you do decide to freeze a cooked meal, we recommend you thaw it slowly in the refrigerator before heating.  Remember, for all foods (not just ours), never refreeze food that was frozen and then thawed.


How do I open and heat my meals?

HEATING INSTRUCTIONS

All Healthy Chef Creations® meals and menu items are delivered fresh, fully-cooked, and ready-to-eat.  Our containers are BPA-free and both oven and microwave safe.

Cold Items (remove before heating) – Items that are best enjoyed cold should be removed from the containers prior to heating. Simply open (peel or cut) the container and enjoy.

Hot Items (heating instructions) – While you may enjoy your food cold right out of the container, for the best tasting, gourmet dining experience, we recommend heating your prepared meals as described below:

CONVENTIONAL OVEN (most even heating - recommended):  Remove lid and plastic container seal (peel or cut).  Place container on a cookie sheet tray in a pre-heated oven @ 300 degrees and heat to desired temperature.  We recommend starting at 6-8 minutes for lighter items (e.g., breakfasts, light dinner entrees, small sides), and 8-10 minutes for heartier items (e.g., hearty dinner entrees, large sides). Start with the recommended time, check the temperature regularly, and continue heating until desired temperature is reached.

MICROWAVE OVEN (fastest heating):  Remove lid and plastic container seal (peel or cut).  Place container in microwave and heat to desired temperature.  We recommend heating on High, starting at 45 to 60 seconds for lighter items (e.g., breakfasts, omelets, quiches, breakfast burritos, fish and other light dinner entrees, small sides), and 60-90 seconds for heartier items (e.g., hearty dinner entrees, steaks, stews, large sides). Start with the recommended time, and
 add 20-30 seconds as necessary to heat until desired temperature is reached.

DO NOT OVERHEAT.  WARNING: Remove the clear plastic cover and remove the plastic seal from your container before heating meals. Use of toaster ovens is not recommended.


Is your packaging recyclable?

Each individual meal container is made of recyclable, BPA-free plastic.  The insulated cooler linings and other internal packaging, as well as the cardboard shipping boxes, are recyclable.  The ice gel packs are reusable and recyclable in some areas.  Check with your local recycling collector for more information.


How do I place an order and what is the deadline each week?

Orders may be placed online at www.HealthyChefCreations.com or via phone at 866-575-2433.  As our meals are prepared to order and made from scratch each week, all orders are due on Thursday, 11:59pm ET the week prior to the desired Friday delivery date (8 days before the delivery date).


How do I set or change my food preferences?

Simply log in to your account and save your general account preferences on the preferences and allergens tabs in your main account profile. They will automatically be applied to all future Meal Program orders and other meals selected for you by our staff.  You can also create sub-profiles with separate preferences for each member of your family.  Account profile food preferences and allergen selections do not apply to A La Carte orders. For A La Carte orders, you can customize each meal individually to your personal tastes during checkout.

If you would like to request additional preferences (beyond the standard ones available in the account profiles), please contact Customer Service to request a quote for a custom meal program. Custom programs cannot be ordered online and require a personalized quotation to make sure we can meet your needs.

NOTE: Changes made to food preferences and allergen information in your profile will be applied to future purchases and also to future delivery weeks for existing orders, but may not be reflected in your upcoming current delivery week. Changes made after a weekly order deadline (i.e., Thursday night) will not be reflected in that week’s deliveries.

How do I change my shipping address?

Simply log in to your account, go to the shipping tab in your main account profile, and save your new shipping information.

NOTE: Changes to shipping addresses in profiles will be applied to future purchases only, and will not be automatically applied to future delivery weeks for existing orders from previous purchases. To change the shipping address for a future delivery week for an existing order from a previous purchase, please contact Customer Service. Shipping addresses for existing orders from previous purchases cannot be changed online.


Do I have to place a new order each week?

You may place orders weekly, order for multiple weeks at a time, or place a multi-week order.  You may also turn on auto-renewal for your account (online in your account profile or call customer service). With auto-renewal, your latest Meal Program order will be automatically reordered for you at the end of your current order cycle (e.g., at the end of a two-week Meal Program order, another two-week order for the same Meal Program would automatically be placed).  Auto-renewal is not available for A La Carte orders.


Can I cancel my order?

You may cancel or change an order for a future (non-current) delivery date at any time up until Thursday, 11:59pm ET the week prior to the delivery date (i.e., 8 days before the scheduled delivery date). Cancellations and order changes are not permitted for current delivery date orders. All cancellation requests must be made in writing by emailing info@healthychefcreations.com.  See the Terms and Conditions for additional information on our cancellation policy.
